The Creative Journey
At the age of thirteen, I dug a hole in the backyard, filled it with charcoal, and used my mother's hairdryer to fashion a rudimentary forge. From this inauspicious beginning, I have found unending joy in the creative process.
Four years later, I founded Pelagos Custom, the only commercial speargun company in the state of Oklahoma. This business allowed me to showcase my work, while designing unique products that fueled my desire for adventure. Through Pelagos, I learned to craft and sell professional-grade, bespoke equipment while also pursuing my love for the outdoors.
After graduation, I sought out a strong technical foundation to ground my work, going on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Design Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Currently, I live in Milwaukie, Oregon, with my dog Juni and work full time as a sculptor/engineer/vagabond/pirate/artist.
