Unrealistic expectations, an incredibly tight budget and far too little time. The boyhood dream to build a teardrop camper and drive it across the country. With six weeks and record breaking summer heat, this project was a battle that pushed me to my limits.

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Colorado School of Mines, I was commission to forge a ceremonial broadsword. This story began at my “rock bottom” and through hundreds of hours and thousands of fold, ended with my triumphant knighthood and graduation.
